From the Great Northeast to the Silicon Valley...

My desire to create art began as far back as I can remember, way back with my grandfather in his basement shop.   I remember vividly putting pencil to tracing paper and cutting out wooden blocks for the local art and craft fairs.   The experience of creating sculptures and furniture then painting them with my grandfather was uplifting and rewarding.   Nothing at that time ever felt so pure in my life, so fundamental, so righteous, and it’s the creativity that burns on within my heart today.

As I make transitions in creating contemporary art, I try not to forget the principles and lessons that were taught to me along the way.   I was once told by a mentor of mine, Bill Darling of the Saint Johnsbury Academy in Vermont the Latin phrase “Non Movit Mortuus Est”, which translates to ‘what does not move is dead’.   I have studied this concept and applied the theory to my art ranging from oil painting to user interface design.

Within my portfolio you will experience a variety of creative designs ranging from logos and identity branding to cutting edge user-interfaces for web-based applications.   Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and I welcome you to browse my showcase of logos, web designs, and print designs by clicking one of the moons above…
