Helium Inc.

My job title at Helium was a User Interface Designer.  I feel this title reflects some understatements in my role there because my responsibilities extended from designing e-com shopping carts and marketplace capabilities incorporating concepts never used before, to advertisements for the web and print.  I worked directly with the CEO and executives in a fast-paced startup to understand and solve business problems.  My portfolio possesses several designs including web advertisements for Helium and partner affiliations, as well as projects like designing the main navigation and pagination for the site.

Project Skyline, LLC

I began this business with a long time friend and associate with intensions of being a giant software firm but was humbled by the intense marketplace and competitive industry of the Internet.  Although the dream never came true the experience was rewarding and priceless.  We produced over twenty websites and applications for small to medium sized companies. We worked with diverse clientele from family businesses to multi-state corporations such as Skillings and Sons, GenPower, and Fornataro Architecture.  We assessed demographics with companies in order to plan strategic ways to design and articulate marketing strategies.

Skilling and Sons, Co.

This website was created while I worked for ProjectSkyLine. With over 35 years of professional service Skillings demanded a site that engaged and informed their visitors. We worked closely with Skillings to ensure the finished product was accurate to the business and filled with useful information for customers. Custom ajax, a tabbed interface and photo gallery were constructed along with database search capabilities and migration of existing site content. The website also has a custom built management system that allows for easy updating and editing.

Fornataro Architecture, P.A.

This is a website I designed for Fornataro Architecture while I was working for ProjectSkyline. The site is for a company that provides architectural services for businesses, governments, and homeowners.  I worked diligently with the client LouAnn Fornataro to manufacture the best possible website for the business needs.  Included are custom JavaScript photo galleries, a sleek main navigation, and intensive informative content.

Six 9 Chevelle

This is a website I designed recently for a client who wanted to keep a webblog on his car project. This has WordPress built into it so it is easy to login to an open-source back-end custom management system that allows for easy content editing.  The banner graphic is a combination of vector and bitmap images that I created in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

GenPower Services, LLC

This is a website I did for Genpower, a leading U.S. developer of clean energy projects. We reinforced the company’s internet presence and provided a platform to showcase their ingenuity and future plans. We dramatically changed the presence of GenPower by making their identity cleaner and bolder. I created the main navigation and motion banner in Adobe Flash.

Sunshine Botanicals faux site

When I worked for ProjectSkyline I created a test site for a client called Sunshine Botanicals.  We built a colorful site utilizing the clients stock imagery and provided content. The finished site would include a multi-part navigational bar and full e-commerce capabilities.
