GenPower Services, LLC

This logo was created for Genpower, a leading U.S. developer of clean energy projects with a unique focus on renewable energy technologies.  The company is located in Newton, Massachusetts.  I met with top marketing managers to discuss the best direction for the company brand.  We determined that this logo communicated the eco-friendly but stark look that the company strategy demanded.

Renewable Energy Development

This logo is for a group of contractors out of the Northeast who design and develop wood burning power plants. I designed the logo to look earthy and organic reflecting the process in which they produce energy.

East Coast Cobras

I had a lot fun creating this logo.  I found images of cobras and race flags from books, and with some Adobe Illustrator skills, I fused them together into a tight vector image.  The result was a powerful image that resembles the art form of building custom Cobras and Daytona Coupes.

BlueFish

This is logo for a retail store in Nantucket, Massachusetts. I modeled it after the Black Dog logo that is native and popular to that town. I kept the forms simple and the colors to a minimum. I drew this in Adobe Illustrator from photos of fish that I though looked unique.

Roots of Creation

This logo is for a reggae rock band.  The logarithmic spiral was drawn from dirt on my scanner tray with a paintbrush.  The logarithmic spiral or growth spiral has a special kind of spiral curve which often appears in nature.  The band agreed that this was the right symbol to present as their logo in their underground music and Rastafarian movement.

RapLyrics

This is an iPhone application icon for the first and only portable lyrics archive.  Working in such a small scale really forced me be aware of individual pixels.  This app has been passed by the Apple submission process and has sold over 200 copies to date.

RapLyrics

This is a splash screen for the introductory loading page within the RapLyrics application.  I made sure I kept with the same theme but explored a different variation.  This is the first application in a long list of lyrical genres I have ideas for.
